When you set your evening purse on a table or other surface, place it so it balances upright. Avoid getting the minaudiere wet. If it does become wet, quickly dry it with a soft cloth of natural fiber such as cotton or silk. Synthetic fabrics will scratch the surfaces. Do not store the bag in temperatures below freezing. Freezing temperatures will damage the baked enamel. When carrying heavy items - such as your cell phone or keys - place them in the purse rather than drop them. If you need to use them, adhere with cyanoacrylate, commonly known as Super Glue. This binder fluid can be found at jewelry supply stores and some craft stores.
